Before entering law, Frank DiScala attended the University of Miami and garnered induction into three national honor societies due to his academic achievements. Originally focusing his education on Psychology and Biology, DiScala transferred to the University of Connecticut Storrs where he acquired a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and History. After receiving his degree, he enrolled at New England Law School. Along with placing on the dean's list and participating in a moot court competition, Frank DiScala interned with the Office of the Attorney General in Boston. In this position, he assisted the Consumer Fraud Unit and the Public Production Bureau in their investigations of fraudulent charities.
Following the end of his legal education, DiScala aided clients at his father's law firm. Trained in personal injury and criminal law, he also engaged in real estate and business law as a probate guardian for elderly persons. Frank DiScala credits his education about the nuances of the justice system and the importance of diligence in representing clients to this experience.
During his spare time, Frank DiScala enjoys outdoor activities. As a Connecticut Hunter Safety Instructor for archery, he teaches others about proper use of equipment and bow hunting conservation. He also shoots clays, trap, and skeet at the Weston Gun Club. Some of his other pastimes include carpentry, gardening, waterskiing, and fishing.
